UNR Auto-maximise madness
I love UNR but I dont always use my netbook like a netbook, I lke to run it at home on a big monitor and an external keyboard and mouse, so many of the netbook features are wasted and some are downright difficult to work with on a big monitor, one example is the auto maximize feature of a tool called maximus, using the code below you can disable this behavior.
gconftool-2 --set /apps/maximus/no_maximize --type BOOL true Uninstall Google Chrome
Google chrome is my browser of choice but if you need to uninstall it for some reason, this is how I do it.
If you grabbed the unstable deb then uninstall as:
sudo apt-get remove google-chrome-unstableIf it was beta, then use
sudo apt-get remove google-chrome-betaIt has been noted that unstable is the only way to go if you want bookmark syncing in UNR Karmic.
